*Comprehensive Physical Examination
An in depth assessment of urologic status/condition and physical examination.
*Diagnostic
Imaging
This may include ultrasound of the urinary system
or prostate, CT scans of the abdomen and pelvis, X-rays of urinary tract (KUB),
*Cystoscopy
Cystoscopy is used as a diagnostic tool to assess the lower urinary tract for any structural
abnormalities, such as stones, polyps, strictures, or tumors. A small scope is inserted into the bladder, allowing visualization
of the urethra, bladder, and ureteric orifices.
Urodynamic study is used to evaluate bladder function.
This is extremely usefulin determining treatment options for Overactive Bladder, incontinence, Urgency, and Benign Prostatic
Hyperplasia (BPH).
*Uroflow Study
Uroflow studies are used to evaluate the amount and strength of the urinary flow to determine
the degree of obstruction caused by various urologic conditions. It is also used to evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed
treatment.
